I just wrapped up 3 shows in the northwest. I was joined by the METERMAIDS and Sadistik in Seattle & Portland. We also had guest appearances by Oldominion homies, SLEEP and Onry Ozzborn. My last show was in Victoria, BC which is where I acquired the 36″x48″ canvas painting displayed below.
A mysterious gentleman handed me this magnificent work of art (based on a photo taken of me in 2003) as soon as I stepped off stage at Read the rest of this entry »
The tickets are booked, the merch is shipped, and the set is coming together. We’ve got incredible surprises lined up for folks on this tour, including a number of guest appearances and once in a lifetime collaborations along the way. Dan Le Sac & Buddy Peace are two producers I’ve been working intensely with in the past year, and the new material I’ve produced with both of them is about to be rolled out for the first time in a major way. Couldn’t be more excited, and couldn’t pick a better audience than the UK to kick things off.
Let’s get bloody.
First, a pair of opening sets:
SEP 3 – ICELAND – w/ SAGE FRANCIS at at Sodoma www.midi.is
Then, tour begins with @Bestival, where I’ll be performing two sets alongside such acts as Public Enemy, Bjork, The Cure, Diplo, Odd Future, Crystal Castles, PJ Harvey, Pendulum, Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip, and about a trillion others. Details for the festival are at www.Bestival.net, and the specifics for my performances during the weekend are as follows:
SEP 8 – ISLE OF WIGHT, UK – BESTIVAL
4:30-5pm SPOKEN WORD SET @ SATIN LIZARD LOUNGE
Later that evening, TBA: PREMIER OF FULL MUSICAL SET w/ DAN LE SAC & BUDDY PEACE @ POLKA TENT. GUESTS TBA.
After Bestival, we’ll continue to roll across the UK. With Dan and Buddy both providing solo sets before joining me as a ‘backing band’ for a full length, brand new headlining set.

Another demo has kicked its way out of the SFR vault. This here is the original version of “Slow Man” which was completely reworked and re-recorded over different music for my LI(F)E album. This version is more aggressive and includes A BONUS ADDITIONAL VERSE! The legendary Buck 65 produced the beat.
“When the world moves at breakneck speed,
I hold the pause button halfway and make the tapedeck bleed.
It takes seconds to see what’s gonna happen in an hour’s time.
I see next week, next week I’m rushing rewind.
Time flies like a lie that evolves and grows wings,
then barrel rolls through intelligent designs of smoke rings.”
The METERMAIDS (freshly signed to SFR) have been added to my Portland and Seattle shows this September! Not only that, but Seattle’s own Sadistik will be opening for us in both cities. I will be headlining and performing a 90 minute set which will consist of songs from my entire catalog. Old and new. Full details posted below:
