Sage Francis- "Sick Of Waging War"-Strange Famous Records
Sage is by far one of the most underrated emcees to bless a microphone. This, the third installment of the "Sick Of…" series is basically an archive of unreleased, live, and redone tracks that include radio freestyles as far back as '96. The first track that I must comment on is "Makeshift Patriot," which is a detailed masterpiece about the September 11th tragedy. The song is so picturesque that you feel as if you are there. Sage puts you right in the middle of the chaos.
The live rendition of Tribe's classic "Can I Kick It" is an extra added treat, with Sage plugging in his own lyrics and making it hilarious and dope at the same time. Among the freestyles, the best one is "Freestyle Confession." It shows that SF is not a one-dimensional emcee as he rips this beat.
He gets help from emcees Slug and Eyedea on "Embarrassed," Ant Lieu in "I'm Gonna Getcha," and a slew of producers such as MF Shalem, Meaty Ogre, Joe Beats, Maxim, and Curty Cut (R.I.P.). Sage Francis is an unconventional, unorthodox artist that delves in many different styles and rhyme patterns.
With classic songs like "Makeshift" and the compilation of live performances, "Sick Of Waging War" will keep fans of SF happy while gaining new ones. - CyPHer777

Nah, you don't fool me, that was probably just a lucky shot. See, they told me I was gonna be the only one with super powers. But they told me about people like you trying to fool me. Not this time.....
