Go tell a lion that killed a hunter that was trying to shoot him that killing is wrong
why do people separate themselves from the world...have you forgotten we're animals, too? I love it when people make rules and all kinds of shit...JUST for people...nothing else applies
Somebody created the idea of a heaven...and only people go to it...everything else in the planet just dies. We're capabale of rational though so obviously we're better than everything else that exists
yeah ok (a smiley rolling its eyes would be nice right now)
killing is killing...there is no such thing as wrong and right...morality is man made. At the end of the day, people just agree to not go killing anybody they want cause how good a place would this be to live in if everybody just went around killing each other? Then they started teaching us how to feel bad about doing shit, etc...
A baby will throw food in your face and laugh at you...it doesn't stop doing it until you teach him it's "wrong"...

ok how about this then
killing isnt nesacery<sp> theres other ways to achive the same goals
and ofcourse theres always exceptions to the 'rules' when taken to the extreme
i.e. your sucidebomber example
the outcome is good but in my opionon that still doesnt mean its right
that he got killed<even though he probbly deserved it>
just like it wasnt right that he was going to blow him self up to kill other people
i cant put what im thinking into words so it comes out right, always a problem ive had
killing is wrong no matter what way you look it it<yes an opionon, just like everything else thats been said in this thread>
ahhh ima shut up know i cant articlate what im trying to say in the right way
ill atleast agree to disagree
edit: random surge you snuck that in right before i posted

you said my point was taken, but still you say all killing is wrong
so I guess my point wasn't taken very well
If my point was taken, and you still think all killing is wrong, then I would expect you to acknowledge that you were brainwashed to think that and that's no universal law
And since people have had problems with the word before...I'm using brainwashed loosely. Just in case |

well can I ask you one more question:
is killing non-humans fine? or is all of that wrong too?
and specifically what killing is okay? I assume vegetation at least? |

heh....i know you might disagree with this too
i think the way animals<stuff 'we'<i> eat for food> are killed in slaughter houses and what not is wrong
i would feel much better about eating meat if i was self suficent about going out and hunting it myself and using the skin for stuff i could use for everyday life<i know were not in the middle ages anymore......>
eat all the vegatation you want :) |

well yes it's your opinion...you've obviously thought about the subject and came up with something for yourself
but that opinion is obviously influenced by what you were taught.
What I liked about my parents is that they never told me shit was wrong...just that I shouldn't do it.
Their reason?
"Because I said so"
As a kid that's the most aggravating thing somebody can say...but now I realize my parents are parental geniuses. Parents give their kids all kinds of bullshit reasons to not do stuff...and they end up growing up thinking shit is wrong with the stupidest rationale possible (or none at all)
My parents just told me not to do shit...no reason, just don't do it you piece of shit. It has really allowed me to make up my own mind about things |

oh and blunted...as you have admitted to this being just your opinion
don't say/type "killing is wrong" / "killing=wrong"
I know it may seem silly, but saying "I think killing is wrong" makes a HUGE difference[/b] |
