I cannot have faith in anybody who uses drugs.
People i am not freinds with and have faith in:
Ian Mackeye 100%

When i was still living in Reno, i was pretty bummed to be walking through the Peppermill and seeing Ian Mackeye sitting byhimself drinking at a bar after they played earlier..oh well i guess...

that is wierd, cause when i saw him do the spoken word he still had the same attitude toward drugs, and clearly stated his hatred of alcohol and the alcohol industry. but i agree with you on the "oh well i guess" i feel the same way.

just because someone drinks a beer doesn't mean he or she has "bit the dust". i don't get why you guys think it's such a big deal for someone to have a drink.

i can see their point. i mean if you are straightedge and all of your songs are about how you never do drugs or drink alcohol, your message loses its meaning. but what i'm saying is that there's no telling what the man was drinking.

thats a different argument all together.
their point is if someone says one thing and does another they ain't that tite.

on a side note.
lots of productive, inovative, talented, and influential individuals were under the influence of outside substances.

you guys? im speaking for myself..Ian "invented"straight edge, and yes, hes said in many interviews he never thought it would become what it has.But sXe has been a big part of who i am today. So its kinda dissapointing.Im shure this will be disected but thats how i feel. Its like for those of you who 'have faith' in Sage, and you randomly saw him smoking a joint. You'd get a weird bummed out feeling im shure...love,jess

I am deffinately happy you are here meaneagle to bring some sanity. However, i can almost positively say he wasnt drinking a beer cause when i saw him do the spoken word, He simply said that he has never had the desire to be anything but sober, that it is an alien feeling to him.
It is very sad and dissapointing when something like that happens, but i dont think it happened.
I might have believed it to be true if i hadnt heard him say those things just recently. But he has no reason to be dishonest.
i hope this sheads some light. sorry if i suck at talking.
