it's a pitty to see all these frat/Abercrombie/American Eagle Outfitter kids at Atmosphere shows because for most of them all they know is "oh, these guys are White so we can identify with them." most of them wouldn't know hip-hop if Rakim shit in their mouth. hell most of them wouldn't even know who Rakim was. |

nah, those kids aren't nearly as bad as the fifteen year old girls at the shows. at the last atmos show i went to i showed up early and got a place near the stage. right when slug was about to come out this dumb bitch comes running through the crowd yelling "I'M HAVING A SIEZURE" and shoves her way to the front. now that pissed me off, considering i had shown up early and waited only to have this dumb bitch squeeze in front of me at the last minute. i got even with her though, when dibbs started his "mosh pit" i started jabbing my elbow to her rib and threw her the fuck behind me... |

well than, i guess i don't have faith in any artist. i can have faith that certain artist will create some songs I like but to say I beleive in the artist for me is too much. I don't necessarily agree with everything or most of what someone puts out or says in a song. I can't get disapointed when they produce something I don't feel. It keeps things simpler and my musical taste broader that way. I don't expect any artist to save the world. T
you thinking too much dickhead no one is talking about an artist to save the world or anything other than enjoying the music they make...
yea i do that alot
sorry |

I really like that cd you gave me. Thank you. It was perfect mood music when I got to hang out with my girly last week and just chill. Beautiful stuff.

you cant fuck with p dawg!!
i consider music a privelage so im not someone who complains when an artist doesnt live up to my expectations, i mean it sucks, but i just appreciate their earlier music, if theres one thing i've learned is that bands and emcees music evolves, often away from fans.
It's pretty close to impossible to keep every fan happy with every album.
but with that said
im really feelin sage, aesop, jurassic 5, and this australian hip hop band called the herd. |

I don't put "faith" in artists, but I do get dissapointed when somebody that's been putting out really nice shit starts putting out radio music or garbage.
People that haven't made shitty stuff yet:
EVERYBODY AT ANTICON
Outkast
Him
Sixtoo (everything he does is just soooo goood!)
Neil Young
Sage Francis
Shurik'n
Buck 65
People that put out good shit but that I'm afraid are gonna fall off soon..
Aesop Rock
Atmosphere
Jedi Mind Tricks
People that used to be good and have started releasing shit that really SUCKS!
Goodie Mob
Fonky Family
Freeman
Wu Tang
That's just off the top of my head, there's a hundred more to put on the lists. |

When I saw Atmosphere, there was a woman who was at LEAST 40 rocking a Atmosphere shirt and singing every word. At first I was kinda like... "Eh...." but then I thought, that's cool. You know, maybe Atmosphere is like the gateway drug of hiphop or something. Just because they don't know what hiphop is now, doesn't mean they won't in 5 years. Everyone starts somewhere. |
