Jian Gui, English Title: The Eye.

Spooky Chinese movie about a blind girl who gets a cornea transplant only to find out that the cornea's previous owner was a shady character and now she can see ghosts and other scary stuff.
It sounds boring-ish, but the way it's made is wicked creepy.

i definitely agree with glengarry glenross.

also, kurosawa's "dreams" is rarely mentioned or even carried by video stores. i've been trying to get a copy as of late.

others off the top of my head... i guess some of these will be pretty well known to people:

"search and destroy" (a little-known scorsese flick)
"in the heat of the night"
"the bounty"
"everything's fine" (or most anything with marcello mastrionani)

might be too soon to say but "punch drunk love" seems like it will be one of those movies overlooked by most but loved by a few.

rodger dodger

it might not suit the interests of those who are into movies with lengthy dialogue, but if you are, and you treasure great writing, this movie can be quite a treat.

But you're wrong I actually posses a secret power that allows me to like only truly remarkable movies...therefore if I like it, it is good. Others may think they have this ability, they are wrong.
