russel simmons is the only one that didn't mind being named and he was saying that there are enough gay guys and gals out there that like hippiddy-hop that gay rappers could sell singles but prob not go platinum with their albums.
anyone read the article?
anyone has a view on that?
anyone know any gay rap?
i think if there's a gay rapper out there then sage should do a duet with the guy. |

This is of course the most obvious answer possible, but eff it:
If that was the only thing he talked about, I probably wouldn't buy his ish. But, frankly, I don't listen to a lot of straight rappers who only talk about giving it up the vagina.
If there were references made, I wouldn't mind much, but I probably wouldn't like dude if all he talked about were his gay escapades. |

To continue what emynd said, as long he didn't pull a little kim and only talk about being a man-whore I couldn't give a shit aslong as its good. Sage could be gay for all I care, as long as its well written, the beats are dope, and it comes together I couldn't give a shit. |

there are a few gay rappers out there... I think that was all discussed in a post a week or two ago so... yeah there are gay rappers out there I think paul barman is one of them... he's pretty dope... even tho he's not I could see buck65 being gay |

I had a friend (straight as could be) in a gay punk band. All the other members were gay, and they asked him to play...it was great.
They were called "Assembly" and their song titles were great:
"Suck Dicks"
"Women Suck, Eat Ass"
"Same Sex Marriage"
Great stuff...the best part was the guitarist would always wear a shirt that said "I hate fags" when he played - and all the other members would wear pink bras and shit. It was hilarious.
They only lasted 4 shows before clubs stopped booking them...when the Living Room doesn't return your calls, you know it's time to hang it up that's for damn sure. Heh.

There are/were TONS of gay punk bands. Xlimp wristX is one of my favorites. Straight Edge and gay, and the songs where actually pretty fucking good too. |

There are these frisco dudes... the Deep Dickolective. They're pretty good.
I've been hearing ABOUT this dude "Caushun" on a major for like two years, but still haven't heard his shit. I'm thinking it isn't too good though, his record is now rumoured to be entitled "Shock and Awe".
People keep saying Afrika Bambaataa is gay, but not really reliable sources.
I seem to remember Astrolabe saying he was bi... apologies if that's a misrepresentation...
