actually...it bothers me some
This is related to TD3's question, no?
"why are we so interested in them?"
The question could be, "Who do you find to be the most intriguing killer?"
Y'know? The way it's worded does sound rugged, but interest in something doesn't imply proficiency...Hehe.
I don't think I'll be like this much longer man, I'm going to counseling. Thanks for putting up with me.

it's a technicality...words mean something after all
but it doesn't help your case that only the acts and movies have been mentioned instead of the mental state, reasons for it, etc
"completely fucking demented" doesn't cut it either :)
I'm intrigued by what would push people to such acts, and the state of mind they must have had...the whole psychology of it
yes the acts are obviously relevant...but if after the word "favorite" that's all you talk about....
it makes one wonder :)
and I hadn't read td3's post |

Heh. The worst thing I could ever think of doing is letting someone get killed if I can help it.

We're lucky we don't live in societies so forcifully oppressive they allow that to happen.
It's more covert 'round these parts. |

Of course: Ed Gien (tha godfatha)
But more interesting is:
Albert Fish - Insanely sadistic, cannibal, inserted up to 29 needles into his groin.
Henry "Fucking" Lee Lucas - One of the most fucked up childhoods I have ever read about. Not to mention he had a presumed body count well over 300. (incidently, he was the only prisoner pardoned from the electric chair by our very own president George W. Bush during his time as govenor of Texas)
Just to name a couple...
For more info go to http://www.crimelibrary.com
or read The Encyclopedia of Serial Killers. Fucking facinating.
Props on this thread.

for some reason, when i was little i thought i would end up being a serial killer, so i got all obsessed with it. I have read the encyclopedia, and i have a few other books, but im not about that shit anymore. It is kind of depressing, and i dont need to think about stuff like that. Sometimes when i try to go to sleep i get scared that there is another Richard Ramirez out there. Cause he was random, and he could break in to your house. The one i find to be pretty disturbing was Gary Heidnik. He tortured women, and other stuff. I read a book about ted bundy that was written by his woman friend. She volunteered with him at the same crisis center. It is a good read, cause you get to see the dual personality. |
