I met Sage at the "end of tour party" show at the Middle East in Cambridge last year.
I was embarressed talking to him before the show, and he looked as embarressed that someone had flew over from England for the show. (I never asked if that was true. If you read this, that's the impression I got ;)

I spoke to him afterwards, and Jane (my girlfriend) swore at him in a friendly, but easily misinturpreted manor.
I didnt care, I was still buzzing (and drunk) after one of the greatest shows of my life.

I remember waking up the next day, hung over, and thinking "Oh no, what the fuck did you say to him?"

I think we got away with it.

I met Sage twice last year, and I found him to be thoroughly nice chap, on both occasions. I'm still a bit shy when it comes to speaking to people after a show, but it means a lot when you get the chance to and they actually stick around to speak to folks. And he gave me the best shout out ever on my minidisc recorder too! Thanks Sage. You're ace.

Hopefully see you at Sonar as well! Hah! It should be crazy fun. Or wicked good. Take care.

i met sage at the show in Newport. he signed my CD and when he asked my name and i told him he said, "are you the rosa?" i didnt really think he'd remember my name so i looked at him like i was confused. then he made the typing motion with his fingers and said "from the ..." "ahh yes, that's me" i bought a t shirt from him and made him look for a small size :/ i felt bad. when he finally found it, it was too small. then i felt even worse. so i bought a larger shirt, washed it, and it shrunk. go me. go sage. let's boogie.

the first time i met sage, he was freestyling outside the venue with eyedea. it was dope as hell. they didnt think we recognized them. they asked who we were there to see, and then they told us "those guys arent even that good". classic.

then saw him again on the personal journeys tour, and again on the dead poet tour.

got a my sick of waging war cd autographed with the words

"adam represents like fuck. WHAT!!!"

I keep it beside my bed as a reminder. i look at it in the morning and say to myself... "damn. youre right sage. i do dont i"

haha psyche.

alas, i wont be seeing him anymore.

good times good times,
adam from pensacola

... oh yea, and i got some exclusive video of sage announcing his love for my sister too.

haha, she's wearing the tape out.

I have still never spoken to Sage, as cool as I know he is.

I never feel the need to speak with him.

I have seen him pretty much face to face on 2 different occasions.

Once in Deleware which I have documented before and once in Philly.

I was at the merchandise table when Sage told this cat not to wander off with a CD.

Just seemed like an odd time for intros.

we met him briefly while his was in portland. my roomate gave him 200 dollars for all the music we've downloaded -- there was all this confusion over whether or not your could write checks to CASH.

He signed my cd and when I went to shake his hand I dropped it on the ground, got all embarrassed and walked off as quickly as possible :).

just my style.

sorry, but I have a very poor opininon of myself in terms of being a "ladies man."

if a woman is ever flattered by something I do...I don't know about it until I am a couple states away.

i guess its best that way.
