I met Sage the first day of Scribble 02 when he was sitting in front of a church writing.I was driving by and I noticed him, stopped the car.Said what's up I'm Josh or 'Satyre' from your board. And he signed my Personal Journals book. Then that night,I purchased a Makeshift Patriot shirt from him and I was the first sale of the night,so he was like 'shit, let me sell something else so i can make change.'

Then a on March 3rd in Columbus,I said 'nice show,it really meant a lot to me' and gave him a pound and a hug.Yeah, that's it.Peace.

hahaa...I'm sorry brother. Sometimes I really do start to shovel people to the side and it feels shitty. especially when they are trying to say something nice. Sometimes people feel obligated to give scompliments to the performer of the night whether they enjoyed themselves or not.

thanks

ya, thanks

good job

thanks

coool

thanks

nah, i can't hang out...i hate people. i go right to the hotel and crash...no...no...thanks though.

ah, thanks man.

shovel. shovel. shovel.

all I want is hugs and kisses. really. those are the things that feel real. words don't most of the time.

I've met sage several times. he's always been a good guy and very accommodating, despite the fact that he's inevitably got a lot to think about, what with putting on a show that night and all.

On the personal journals tour I met Sage and Lord Grunge before the show, and Sage was twirling some mardi gras beads. Of course he dropped them. And I tried to give them back to him. But he told me I could keep the beads. And I didn't want to tell him that I had several boxes of beads at home being that I go to school in new orleans. And that at that point I was sick of seeing beads.

Thanks Mean Joe.

And when I told him my name was Ian. He proceeded to pretend that he thought I said Edan. har.har.

I did have a nice conversation with Lord Grunge though. How many of you have met Lord Grunge in person? Sage travels with good peeps.
