While I kind of agree with the sentiment of working hard to create the things you want created, it's just not for me personally. I wanted desperately to be a musician of some kind, and worked hard for years at it, but never really made it past mediocrity, my brain just didn't really work in a "musical" way. Maybe I took that one Bukowski poem to heart a little too much, or maybe I listened to the 'Quitting' episode of the Freakonomics podcast one too many times, but there are other things I would personally rather spend my time and energy on.

My dream mash-up is a song that ends the concept of mash-ups forever and for all-time. Call me old-fashioned....
