This discussion goes for over an hour. Topics range from the upcoming "Copper Gone" album, conscious Vs. non-conscious rappers, Bill Hicks, "alt comedy", NSA, police, SFR, post-911, sound engineering, ruining people's lives to get the best possible work out of them, etc...

It's basically a lot of ranting and swearing.

I feel like the term "conscious rapper" has such a stigma attached to it these days. It also seems like the diametric opposite to "gangster rapper." Is that really all we have these days? I thought you gave a really great explanation of how even pop rappers can be conscious.

Anyway, great interview on your part. I felt like the main dude was a little too anxious to get questions out there and as such cut you off at times, but I really enjoyed all of the information nonetheless. The little anecdotes about Chris Warren, Hugo, and Bill Hicks were great.

Really enjoyed this.

Would you ever consider doing a weekly or even monthly SFR Podcast? I would love to hear more long rambling chats like these with all the extended Strange Famous fam. Just sayin..

We've discussed it many, many times. I'd love to do something like that. We just need to hunker down and figure out how best to make this work out. Glad to hear that it might have some entertainment value.

I'm thinking it would really just be a lot of shit talking. And it would get us in a lot of trouble. And I'm all for it.
