Posted my track-by-track breakdown here:
http://bdolan.net/house-of-bees-vol-2-is-here-track-by-track-breakdown/
"Early in the process of writing this album, I happened to meet up with Buck 65 on a shared tour date in Germany. We were catching up on what we’d both been working on, and I had just finished the song “Which Side Are You On?”
I remember telling Buck that I was a bit torn, because the song had originally been intended for a mixtape, but it had come out really, really good. Like, ‘official album’ good, and I was unsure how to handle it’s release.
“I’ve never bought into that whole idea,” was his response. ”What does that mean? That a mixtape is supposed to be full of crappy material? I’d say you want everything to be as great as it possibly can be, all the time.”
I’d always applied this ethic, but hearing Buck say it aloud gave me permission in a sense, and I kept that advice in the back of my mind while working on this album with Buddy. ”HOUSE OF BEES VOL. 2″ is the result. It’s an album-quality mixtape that I spent a year crafting, mixing, and mastering as I would an official lp. Maybe time will prove that to be a disastrous or foolish idea, but at this moment I feel very goddamn proud of the work we’ve done.'" |

Well, the thing is...mixtapes come with more leeway. The good thing about them is that you can include things on a mixtape that people might really like to hear (such as old demos, radio records, rapping over other rappers' beats) which simply wouldn't pass on an official album. Preaching to the choir here, I know.
Anyway, very cool breakdown of the album. One day you will finally stop misusing "it's" and my OCD will no longer be triggered. Haha. |

Haha... ahhh... Just point out the offending sentences to me so I don't have to read through that whole thing obsessively fixing my It's. |

So what you're asking is...that I should read through the whole thing obsessively fixing your it's. Haha. Do this:
Press the "command" and "F" button.
Type in "it's"
Press the down arrow and it will bring you to each time "it's" appears.
If you are not actually trying to say "it is" then you should switch it to "its" |

Psh. A real sufferer of OCD would've been all over that request. Pshhhhhhhhhhhh.
EDIT: I deed it. I realized I use it's when I think I'm abbreviating 'it has' a lot. Like it's been a long time coming... That's probably not correct though. There's a 'ha' in there that should be recognized though. Ha. ha. ha. |

you're right to use "it's" for "it has." Use "its" just when you're talking about something's possesion. Like "The dog collar was sharp. Its spikes glinted." No idea where that example came from. This rule is a mind fuck because with normal nouns the apostrophe is used to indicate possession (i.e., the collar's spikes), but with "it" the rule is exactly the opposite. You exclude the apostrophe to indicate possession. |

There's a small review of it on The Find Magazine.

I like the song "Tin Soldiers". 4th Disciple used that sample too for that Killarmy song Universal Soldiers. It brought me back so did a few other beats on HOB2. Good shit Nard Dog. |

Hahaha Neuro bringing the heat with "Nard Dog."
Ahhh. Haha. Ah yes. I will be using that from here on out.
Thank you, Neuro dog. I know Nard Dog will love this new moniker. |

In the future, please don't confuse Nemonic with Neuro. Really triggers my OCD. |
