For the love of god, if you have a catered reception, take advantage of that delicious food and eat the FUCK out of it.
There were some great crepes and Italian sodas at my reception, and I spent so much time talking to everyone that I barely had any. There is nothing I regret more about my marriage than those missed crepes and Italian sodas. |

Pay a couple actors to stage a big fight. Right when it looks like this debacle is going to ruin everyone's time, jump in and save the day...
Then have the DJ play a song of your choosing and bust into a choreographed dance. So then everyone quickly realizes they were all duped and they'll be able to laugh at themselves for being so stupid. But, also, they'll know that it's time to PARTY.
Oh, also, I'd announce that the wedding was fake and everyone just got punked. I'd have whoever conducted the service cooperate just to make it all the more believable. "Thanks for the gifts anyway!!!"

Man...I've been to Cork on a ship years ago. I've been to a lot of places and I can say, hands down, Cork has the friendliest people ever. Anywhere I went, when I hung out with some local people and it was like they were longtime friends or family. Nice choice. |
