he'd be a good 9th man on the Lakers or the Heat..

He's probably going to the Bulls. He'd start there. Heat don't need any more wings.

They have:
Wade/Miller/House
Lebron/Battier/Jones

Rip would never play.

Time to move to LA and get season tickets for the Clippers. They do need to shed some PGs though. Don't they now have CP3, Billups, Mo Williams, Foye and Bledsoe? Williams will probably get the amnesty cut.

I read somewhere that Billups and CP3 played in the back court together for the World Championships or something, but I don't know about those two starting together. I guess we'll see.

But this is great for the west coast. Definitely going to see some games this year.

I think they'll put Billups and Paul together in the backcourt at the end of games though.

Sick lineup all the same. Now they just need to find an average SG. JR Smith will be coming back from China in March...

Much better haul for New Orleans than the previous deal. The Clippers may be the best team in LA this year.

I am going to the Lakers/Kings game on the 26th. I'm excited to see what the Kings are not capable of doing. Either way, I will be excited to see live basketball for a change.

yeah, as long as they can sign cp3 long term and his knees hold up this is a great deal for both teams.

it sucks being a Magic fan. I just hope we get a shit ton of first round picks. Maybe get Bynum and Gasol if we hold out. I don't know how I feel about Brooke Lopez and Gerald Wallace, but that deal will always be there. I have no hope of him staying.

I'm already sick as fuck of hearing "Meta World Peace" by the commentators during games. Shit.

Norris Cole, if he ends up being consistently this good, the rest of the league is screwed.

All aboard the cole train!

Thought Battier looked good in limited minutes last night too. The zone offense was a little shaky, but that's definitely how you beat it. Hit the shot.

Two tough losses for the Celtics though without Pierce. Ray Allen played 44 minutes last night, and they play again tonight. Meanwhile Spoelstra did a good job of limiting the minutes of the Big 3 with none of them going over 36 minutes, despite it being a close game in the end.

Last year that's the type of game the Heat would have lost.

If the Heat had had Cole in the finals last year, they probably would have won the title, even with Lebron doing what he did.

Chalmers hit a lot of shots in the Finals. Are we crowning Cole a star already? Was he really that good last night?

He shot 8 for 16, with 20 points 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in 29 minutes of play, in his 2nd game. The big stat is that 12 came in the 4th quarter, he wanted the ball in the clutch and showed he deserved it.

Neither of us said he's a star yet, but he will be. He's already seemingly head and shoulders above Chalmers. The Heat need that spark off the bench especially in a shortened season when minutes need to be limited and he should be the answer along with a healthy Mike Miller, James Jones, Udonis Haslem and Shane Battier. When everyone on that bench is healthy it's going to be scary. Eddy Curry could also come back in shape and be a serviceable big man, then it's the end of days for all other franchises, haha.

Some pretty terrible officiating out there in Minny tonight, but you have to like what the Wolves are building out there. They won't make the playoffs this year, but they are proving that they can compete with anyone on a nightly basis. Makes LeBron's offhand comments about contracting teams for lack of talent (specifically, the Wolves) look even stupider.

I will say this for all the talk about Miami's new offense. Their biggest improvement is that LeBron and Wade aren't taking threes. I honestly never understood why Wade shot those. It only made him a less efficient player. LeBron is better at it, but it's certainly not one of his stronger suits. Norris Cole is definitely an upgrade over Mike Bibby. I'm not exactly seeing a "star in the making" when I watch him, though.

I think they should contract New Orleans. Agree or disagree?
