Fuck a Heat.
Kentucky just sent 6 in the draft. Some kinda record, hopefully Anthony Davis pans out like everyone's expecting. Chicago got one of their G so I'm hopeful about that.
If Hamilton doesn't come through after being injured all season, then at least there's someone young to run the 2 with D Rose after he gets back. If Boozer doesn't get in the way. |

Lakers be winning championships for as long as Kobe and to a lesser extent Nash have legs. |

Don't think so...I don't think they make it past the Thunder next season. |

I love that the Lakers are basically an old team + Howard who will miss part of the season with a back injury. The whole thing seems set up for disaster, particularly given how much scrutiny they'll be under. I think pretty much every playoff team in the West matches up really well with them too.
I really like what the Nuggets did in that trade incidentally. That's a George Karl team through and through. |

Not really basketball chat per se, but apparently Shawn Kemp has a restaurant in Seattle called Oskar's Kitchen. Any Seattle folks or travelers been? Next time I'm out there I'm going to check it out. I really wish the Sonics still existed. I guess I'll console myself with OKC. |

I'm really liking the Nuggets moves, hopefully McGee can continue his progression from the playoffs, I'll watch alot of their games this year. Igodoula is a great pickup for them |

You mean 03-04, right? That's what the biggest haters are saying: "Oh yeah, I bet this team probably only makes the NBA Finals!" |

Damn, the Lakers always find a way. But I already feel bad for Nash just thinking about him trying to guard Westbrook. They have a lot of question marks though. Kobe, Nash and Pau slowing down, Dwight's health, the bench. Antawn Jamison was a huge pickup, though.
Can't wait to watch them play the Thunder. And if we finally get a Kobe/Lebron finals, i'll cream my panties. |

It would be dope to get a Heat/Lakers finals--but I have a feeling the bulk of that Laker team is too old, and Dwight's not quite ready to take his game to where it needs to be to get past OKC.
That Denver team is really interesting now, or moreso. It's like 14 deep, completely interchangeable, and very athletic. And coached by crazy Karl. |
