Do you take long bus rides often?
I won't speak from him, but Boltbus/Megabus from DC to Philadelphia, New York City or Boston are why I am often using my smartphone on a long bus ride.

The future is much brighter for Android products.

Lucky! Give us some first impressions once it is in your hands. The screen looks amazingly crisp. |

I don't know what the Droid is like but the iPhone 4s takes fucking ages to sync and backup on iTunes. I don't even know why it has to do these things every time. And by ages I mean that it never actually seems to sync properly, at least not for me. What the hell is this all about? I just want to put some more music on it. |

get an android. plug in, drag and drop; music, files, videos, whatever you want. syncing contacts and such works in the back ground while you're doing your daily life shit and you can edit any contacts on your gmail account. the whole process is way smoother than apple and having to finagle shit through itunes. |

are you syncing wirelessly or with the usb, wireless sync takes a little bit longer
usb is alot faster but wireless sync is good for the little changes you do here and there, but if you are adding a whole bunch of stuff or making big changes its probally better to just plug it in usb
other than that i dunno why it would be taking long at all because mine is fast as hell most of the time |

I'm using the USB. I'm tempted to believe it's because I'm using a shitty netbook, but I don't know. It's actually starting to piss me off because nothing should take this long to sync. I've let it sit and "sync" for 3 hours before. Nothing happens, but then I can't manage to close my iTunes after that without going to Task Manager. I wish I knew how to fix this absurdness. |
