Larry Van Pelt? I know he made some pretty fantastic drawings.
I think this can be done tastefully without being blasphemous. Jesus was a man, so he can't be depicted doing things men do in modern times? Sure some of them crossed the line, but that's the internet. Jesus was also black and much shorter, so these pictures aren't even realistic. They're actually sketches of Cat Stephens.
I looked up Ephesians 2:5-6 and i'm not sure that's the correct verse. Can you explain what the message you were hoping to convey to us? |

That Jesus is the Christ and through the grace(unearned favor) of God we are
rendered sinless (because of the sacrifice of his life) and therefore able to sit in heaven with when we die.
As far as not liking the pictures on this thread, all I am doing is defending the man/God who saved my life. |

I think Jesus would be a guy with a huge sense of humor, playing jokes on people and then saying "gotcha", I think he would laugh as much at these pictures as we are. |
