i think i saw an interview where sean said that glasshouse was about the bush administration, but it could always have another meaning.

one theme that ties them all together is the main character having regrets, but that also goes for pretty much every song on the album, so i dont know.

glasshouse is about the matrix

listen to it again

i liked the ending of 'hair' with the ending of 'scalp' from 'to all my friends'.. that's as deep as it gets for me and interconnectivity.

"The Waitress" might just be my favourite track from Lemons.

Love the beat too.

I really like when they do harder stuff like "Can't Break" and "Until the Nipple's Gone". That said, I think I like To All My Friends more than Lemons. I love 10 out of the 12 tracks on the former whereas on the latter I think tracks 3-6 are a bit of a lull and take away a little from the other brilliant songs.

accordions are pretty crazy man, you seen the amount of buttons on those things? They're the harps of the button instrument world.

The accordion is my favorite instrument after the piano and guitar. My girlfriend bought an old dusty one a couple years ago and taught herself out to play it. If I didn't have asthma issues I would give it a try. Maybe I should look into a new one.

very interesting. i've got an uncle who i've been meaning to get in touch with that played the accordion extensively as a teenager according to my grandma.

kinda funny to think after not seeing him so long i'd pop the question "so um, yeah, you play accordion still?"
