Not here, where I think the discussion is pretty good. Here is an example of a post from another forum, that is populated mostly by 30+ year old hardcore kids:

angry white man wrote:
what the fuck? so a publisher is taking the word nigger out of Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer?i am watching this on cnn now. they have to say the "n-word", which in of itself is a ridiculous thing. how PC is our society going to get?this is the same kind of mindset behind hitler burning books and works of art. are we going to change every fucking book now? i cant believe how big of a pussy the world is becoming. its cool to say nigga in a rap song 10 times, but if it's in a book, change it! how is quentin tarantino going to get his next film made? man, i just can't believe shit sometimes.

It got worse from there.

i can't find anything on an actual legitimate news site though.

I don't have the patience right now to entertain a WND story. I can tell you that both the Tea Party "patriots" and the Coffee Party "uh, people?" were waxing poetic about having a Constitutional Convention. From a brief skim of the article you found I can say that the author is off base. No one is rewriting the Constitution. The purpose of the convention would be to propose amendments directly, those amendments would then be subject to a popular vote (as in, the states would then have to open the polls).

Otherwise, the term "rewriting the Constitution" is often used in protest rhetoric against any legislation that any over the top politician wants to rail against. The Healthcare overhaul? Rewriting the Constitution. Stimulus packages? Rewriting the constitution. Repeal of DADT? Rewriting the Constitution. It's also used by originalists against people who believe that the Constitution is subject to updated interpretations. Normally these people will accuse the court of rewriting the Constitution. All of it is just rhetoric. Nasty, stupid rhetoric used by all sides of politics.

I'm going to guess that he believes that the healthcare bill was a veritable rewrite of the Constitution and that it will somehow be overturned as a whole by the courts and then the Obama Illuminati will convene a Constitutional Convention to rewrite the Constitution into one that will reinforce our new socialist communist totalitarian Obama-ruled country. Or something like that. Also, for good measure: "Hitler."

The Federal Reserve is a monopoly--in a country where monopolies are supposed to be illegal! The IRS deposits people's income tax checks directly in the Federal Reserve banks--not in the united States Treasury. Therefore, the IRS, an unconstitutional entity, is merely the collection agency for the international banksters.

Can we remove the N-word from the title of this thread? It's making me wince every time I see a topic reply notification in my email inbox.
