| RIP Ryan Dunn |
|
|
Ryan Dunn, one of the stars of MTV's "Jackass," has died in a car crash. He was 34.
NBC Philadelphia reports that Dunn and another passenger died in a 3 a.m crash at Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania.
The news of the death was confirmed by April Margera, mother of "Jackass" star Bam, in an interview with a local radio show. TMZ also confirmed with Margera.
TMZ reported that Dunn posted to Twitter a photo of himself drinking with friends just hours before the crash; it has since been removed.
Dunn was perhaps best known for his parts in crashing golf carts and placing a toy car, in a condom, up his rectum in the original "Jackass" film.

Shitty, I liked Dunn. If I had to have a favorite Jackass, he seemed like one of the cooler ones.

I have a friend that lives in Philly and went to West Chester High. He says that these guys were pretty obnoxious when he knew them, but I guess that's nothing that would surprise anyone really, that's their MO. For the lulz. This is not lulzy :(
aside: I didn't realize 322 ran the entire way across the state. I have family on that road but about 300 miles in the other direction. |

^ this pic is really haunting now that they have confirmed he was the driver. Dude doesn't look like he should be driving anything.

Really reallly bummed about this.
One of the Yahoo! articles mentioned his upcoming film, with an eerie plot:
"Dunn also starred in the yet-to-be-released film "Living Will." The film's website describes Dunn's character as a "party bum slacker (who) returns from the dead as a mischievous and perverted ghost." |

At all. It took me a minute to realize what that pic was.
But no sympathy at all for drunk drivers. At All. |

I'm sincerely surprised that he's the only Jack-Ass to have died in such a dumb way. Their guardian angels are completely overworked. |

I used to drive on that road all the time for work, at all hours. It's good he didn't take any other cars out, I guess. |

Well at least TMZ could take time out of their busy schedule to judge others on such important issues from their moral high ground. A bastion of humanity right there.
For the record, Eberts tweet was spot on, and there is no better time for it than right now. |

This. And I don't follow Ebert on twitter, I was checking the internet to see what people had to say about it. Not because I was a fan of Dunn but because while this is a tragedy, it is a tragedy that came from sheer stupidity. This same article about Ebert "blasting" Dunn showed up on 5 or so other sites that came up. |
