I always thought he was better at roasting than Jeffery Ross. Or, actually that he surpassed him that few years.

A lot of people know him for the roasts, but if you could see a whole 30 minute set, you would see a master at crafting jokes.

A lot of times the guys that are good at roasting are not as good at putting a great killer set together. Giraldo's sets were so tight.

When are people gonna understand that doing drugs in their 40s just isn't a good idea?

Anyway, RIP.

He was always one of my favorites on Tough Crowd. A show that I kind of only really missed once it wasn't on anymore. Him, Patrice, and Jim Norton were my favorite panelists on there.

His comedy is really good and smart. Sucks he died and left a family behind. RIP.

I don't know about mean. His reputation is pretty much the exact opposite of mean.

I don't know. I guess I just wish he had shaved more often. Poor guy.

That was his act. I don't think you judge a comedians personality by his act. I have heard the same thing, about him being a pretty chill guy.

Me and my friends loved Tough Crowd but always thought Giraldo would have beena better host. I am not a big Colin Quinn guy mostly because he can never spit out his jokes, he is funny, but he stutters, especially on Tough Crowd, and mumbles.

But Giraldo is just exacting in how he delivered complicated, long jokes. You could tell he wrote a lot of the jokes but improvised well. I bet that show would have been better with him as the host.

Chill doesn't equate to gentle innards. Acts are not divorced from personality. I'm here to tell you that.

That stutter is part of Colin's act though. He doesn't normally speak like that. Plus some of the stutters are too well timed to be on accident.

Yeah he was razor sharp with his wit. Kind of surprised he never got bigger than he did.

Colin Quinn was a very appropriate choice for weekend update and it was also very appropriate that he kept up his stuttering act because it totally worked.

Marc speaks about him and Robert Schimmel, a kind of a eulogy but more just reminiscing on a friend. I don't know him actually, but that's why I love Marc's WTF podcast, he puts you onto all kinds of people. Even though this time it's too late. Sad news.

Aw. Me? Yeah I know. It's not cool to do that, but I was thinking about the roughness of people. Why are they so rough.
Perhaps I could continue the thought at a later date, but I am too lazy.

I don't know much about this dude, but to me he's personified by his stubble. Why do people aspire to be as stubble?

Adam Carola is another stubble guy. Boy he is a prickly sumnagun.
