Been working on my game trying to get better:

Those are all from a horror collection I'll be putting out the first volume of this summer called "The Hecate Snake Diaries". Probably as a $0.99 pdf. Unless I win the lottery and can afford a small print run. Words still to come.

This is some fanart I did yesterday for an anime I watched and loved. I want to do a whole comic like this, but with better line-art:

Geese Howard like a motherfucker:

I didn't do this, but I paid a pretty penny for it...does that count? hehe

Also, futuristxen helped conceptualize the piece, through the prism of my insanity (thus making a total of two insanity prisms) and it was drawn by Alexander Gustafson (http://www.illustratedpixels.com)

That is so unbelievably dope! I also can't think of a better gift in a Secret Santa exchange than someone's own art or some other creative form like that.

This school I worked at for a couple months had a Secret Santa gift exchange where all the teachers basically spent 25 bucks on each other. The coolest gift was from the art teacher to the principal. She gathered a bunch of her own materials, and made a "running shoe" stocking because the principal was one of those jogger-types. I'm pretty sure I was the only one who thought that was the dopest shit I've ever seen, as everyone else was giving shit you can find at any store. Plus, that principal was super lame and couldn't even see that the art teacher was into him. Lame.

By the way, Neuro, your art has improved so much since you first started posting in this thread. Good job, homie.

I don't quite get how good a colorist you are. Your coloring and sense of texture is doctorate while your drawerings still kinda linger around promising, smarter high school. You have so much style if you could just crank out anatomy and perspective in a year ..that'd be gooood.

Nah dude

If futur was some kinda magical koala who just happened to poop wonderful drawings or a Grandma Moses-esque quaint oddity -I'd appreciate it.

But as she's not I'd prefer her to have access to the full palette of expression. There's some nice line/shape moments in her artwork, but she'd hit those much more regularly if her drawering chops were on par with her color chops.

that's a lazy mindset. better technical ability and understanding means more control over style.

demystifying the skill component of your art doesn't mean you suddenly systemise the creative part or become bound to the 10 drawing commandments. it means you increase your skill. that's all that happens.
