Thanks, man!

I'm actually thinking about selling refurbished and customized NES's. I dunno how realistic that is, but I put over 15 hours of work into this one. I really like doing it, so I dunno. I'm doing a Mario one next, then maybe a zelda one? I also have a few visual artists that are down to help me design some totally original pieces not based on anything pop culture related. I dunno what I'm gonna do next with it.

One of my friends is building an arcade machine, with the joysticks and everything, and it has a just about every arcade game ever in it. Pretty crazy. I'm going to start doing the pro-audio mods you can do on an NES, but they are absolutely useless unless you are a musician wanting to use an NES for making music. ha. there's a lot of crazy shit you can do, though.

That is horrifying. My favourite was when John K did his version of Yogi Bear.

He actually has a pretty interesting blog where he writes about the decline of modern animation & attempts to pass on some of his immense cartoony knowledge. http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/

it's been awhile since i've shown this project off.
here's the 7th helmet that i've casted and sold from the molds that i had made from my original sculpt which i posted images of two years ago. this is the third that i've painted, which is a nightmare in this humidity. most i've sold as kits for people to finish for themselves.
i still have a gloss clear coat to add to the outer helmet so it's shiny like the face area and some touch ups, but it's pretty much done.
