Haha what they know about Haystak?
Other southern white rappers we forgot about include Bubba Sparxxx and Lil Wyte.
Haha, the dude throwin' a dub in the background made me chuckle. Also, are Haystak's bottom front teeth chiseled into fangs, or is it just me? |

This guy is the epitome of having a steeze. It may be a made up word, but fuck, this dude rocks it. His voice goes with hearing as much as cock skin goes with cheese grater. |

Obviously you and your wok look straight ridiculous to the multi-billion chemical powers of McDonalds.
Guy, sometimes you want a stroll in the rickshaw and then sometimes you want to strap into the solid-fuel boosters.
Fucking ridiculous. I am incensed by your attempt at knowledge droppings.
HellenEarth, I was mad depressed when I heard the white meaters were taking over the chicken nugget game.
Aight, this just replaced Futuristxen's post as my favorite post on this board of all time. |

It can't be all about flow, if it is I hope it's something your listeners outgrow.
;)

i've met the dude, hung out with him for awhile and he's real down to earth. used to be a wannabe pro skater, decided that wasn't for him after so many injuries and what not. decided to go after music full time, enter yelawolf.
dude can rap better than 90 percent of the artists this board fancies and hasn't restricted himself to the little niche fan bases that many of those artists do. good for him.
dude has a lot of respect in the south for the most part, lotta black fans, and i WILL go to the point of saying that most of the people that hate on him are whiteboys that make music for whiteboys and are generally jealous of the image he has and the respect he has so early on in his career.

It took this thread and the Big Boi record to finally get me around to following Scott Da Ros's recommendation to check out Yelawolf.
Anyone fronting is incomprehensible to me. This dude is a word murderer. It's not all about flow, but the flow is impeccable. He doesn't only say totally brand new ideas, but he has a fresh twist on everything I've heard so far.
I love the Black Sheep and Bob Dylan interpolations on Trunk Muzik. That's speaking my language. (Not Bob Dylan in general always, but definitely Subterranean Homesick Blues)
Then again... I'm really surprised by how much I like the Young Money album. Maybe I'm entering a second adolescence. |
