Josh.
Is the Islamic Gold Dinar a threat to the Fed's USD?
Should we go to war with Iran to stabilize the economy? |

I think that any widely used gold based currency backed by a stable institutional structure would be a major threat to the the US $ going forward. The question is whether the Islamic Gold Dinar will be institutionally sound and widely used.
On Iran, war is a fait accompli (its already a given). How will this affect the economy? In the short-run it will be awful for global economic stability. In the long run, renewed sustained global economic growth cannot occur until the Middle East is better integrated into the informational economy. Iran is the main impediment on that score. So war between Western powers and Iran is inevitable, in the short run this will hurt global economic growth, but in the long run global economic integration will be improved. That's my take anyways. |

Typically I find Ron Paul's calls for an entire abolishment of the Fed unrealistic and misguided, but I think he's spot on with this bill, which does not at all mention abolishing the Fed. |

I think you missed the height of the Ron Paul Revulsion here, Josh. Basically, we like some of the stuff he does but at this point seeing his name makes the lot of us cringe. Few of us are fans of the so-far-right-that-you're-left niche that hooked some of the so-far-left-that-you're-right voters, nor the everything-is-a-conspiracy-and-the-government-only-exists-to-oppress-you concept that seems to tie potheads to libertarians. |

Well then, pretty much like you said, fuck Ron Paul, but audit the Fed.

And no, Fox News is not CBS.
It's a bunch of blond-haired blue-eyed, Nazi BS.
Also, let the Iranian revolution continue. No war is neccessary, you silly Economists. If you want the economy stabilized and the unemployment percentage decreased, start with the Green Energy jobs. |

this bill is awesome and its silly to think otherwise. there is absolutely no logical argument to support a lack of transparency for the most secretive branch of our government. I an also pretty sure this bill has garnered the most bi-partisan support in the house since Obama stepped in, which is pretty cool. |

Sorry, man. Just because you write a LOT about the economy doesn't mean you're right. |
