"The instrumental piece that Mr. Tiersen sent, as you can now hear, has a slow build that gradually gets more chaotic until it crescendos and finishes around the 6 minute mark."

is this song actually longer?

or was that just in the making

It's been on repeat in my iTunes since that download dropped. Keep noticing new things and enjoying it more.

Listening to this I had that same "Wow, take a seat "
moment that I had the first time I ever heard Sage.

she was wearing a smashing pumpkins shirt around the time infinite sadness came out
she was cute as a button too!

we wrote for about 2 years and the letters just stopped
i really hope that box didnt get lost last time i moved

im going to have to find it and look her up on facebook! heh

i'm digging the table saw/radial arm/chop/worm drive whatever it is. i kept looking out the front door of the studio to see who was working. the imagery of cutting apart and building up fits perfectly.

That sound you're referring to is actually a cymbal being bowed. Eerie and creepy. It was that sound that drew me in initially.

amazing.. i listened to that track several times over trying to figure out which piece of shop equipment was being used. cymbal makes sense. i kept trying to hear where the sound faded in and out for triggering the worm/chop/radial, or fading out the non cutting running on the table..

thanks for illuminating that mystery.. i feel like i have to listen to it again with that information in my head now.
