I like how experimental this album seems to be taking in terms of the people you are bringing into fold.
It really freshens up the place and I can't wait to hear more.
Thanks for this.

i think the only reason i've stopped is because i've been playing it for other people, and it gets a little embarrassing to be welling up like an old man in front of others.
one of my favorite sage francis songs ever, easily.
I'm gonna have to jack this right here, brazen and out in the open. I completely agree.
I also feel the same about the lyrics - I do like having the lyrics there but sometimes I come back to them years after, or a while after at least. I prefer letting them whirl around in my head with the music for a while and then it's interesting to come back to the written/printed words... Different for everyone though I guess.
Stunning track. |

I don't remember the last time a song made me tear up like that; then again, I don't remember the last song that wrenched at the out-sized emotions of my youth like that. It's not a sad song, its just a song that so affective and so true. Everyday felt like the end of the world. Thanks for bringing it all back Mr. Francis. |

This song is amazing.
Musically, lyrically, fantastic.
Think this is the Sage song I've been waiting for for a long time. |

I don't know how it's possible for a song to just make you start bawling... damn dude, this is awesome. |

My favorite Sage song, hands down. I can only listen to it once a day -- I feel like I'm so emotionally spent by the time it's over, it would be like rewinding your favorite movie when it's ended and watching it over again. Which some people might be able to do. Not me.
If you don't like this, you suck. |

Jesus man, this is amazing. I've only listened to it 3 times or so since you put the link up on FB, but it's my favorite Sage Francis song at this point. Maybe that'll change, but I doubt it.
Amazing stuff, epic doesn't even begin to describe it. One of the best-written songs I've ever listened to, especially against that great sonic backdrop. |

This pic is funny. YOu look maniacal. I just made it my wallpaper for the day. I haven't seen this one before. Is it part of the promo for the new album? Is the hand about to reach back and pull the pages from the bible. That would be very Marilyn Manson.
Anyway came in a re listened to the song several times this morning to start work . It is tugging at the heart strings more making it even better. From here on out I can't listen to anymore leaked tracks or I won't pre order. |
