The co-op missions for Far Cry 3 are surprisingly fun. I thought it might be a massive amount of drudgery, but they're exciting to run through. I wish there were a few more weapons available from the jump, but I'm also finding it really satisfying to level up my AK. And flaming arrows with the bow? Takes armored dudes out with a quickness.

Also, Sleeping Dogs is fun, but not as fun as I was hoping for. I suppose there's only so much you can do with an open world, GTA clone, eh? Looks like I won't be dipping back into the Saints Row series anytime soon... There's just a lot of repetitive stuff required, especially regarding hacking security cams and having to run back to your room to watch it. And when do I get a gun? I'd figure that an undercover cop playing a thug lifer would at least have a 9mm strapped to his ankle.

i decided someone needs to make a modern day Blaster Master, make it open world where you drive around borderlands type land, and you have to search for areas to go into , caves dungeons and whathaveya, and when you get out of your vehicle it will be 3rd person/first person optional, leaning toward 3rd though, and the cave/dungeon type areas will be more linear and have puzzles and cover shooting/ boss fights, and of course through the whole game you will be upgrading weapons, and your vehicle/ weapons, metriod style so that you can use these to enter new caves/ areas, but the whole open world will be open from the begining you just have to go around collecting stuff so you can actually get to the new passages/levels

The whole you can use the xbox to watch tv annoys the crap out of me, because I am already capable of watching TV if I wanted to...but the whole online connection and fees for used games kills me. I'll go with the ps4

I'm really anxious to see what they can do. Valve has an opportunity to throw a huge wrench in the console industry and they don't seem to fuck around.

so in order to use the xbox you need to have the kinnect on...

so yea. you need a video camera pointing at you, at all times.

Also, this - http://www.extremetech.com/gaming/139706-microsofts-new-kinect-patent-goes-big-brother-will-spy-on-you-for-the-mpaa

Cover the Kinect lens up with duct tape, use your tv to watch tv, and chill-out. You can also do sweet stuff like play a game on one half of the screen while the other side displays tv, which is a perfect feature for gamers with partners, or those that want to catch the game while pawning noobs. Keep in mind as well that Xbox 360 will continue to operate for a time, though I suspect XBL will eventually be phased out to force all users onto the new system.

it doesnt take much for them to program a "please remove obstruction from kinect" error message in there. Given that they're looking at analysing how many people are watching a film in the room to work out if you need to be charged more it wouldn't surprise me.

I'm all for a webcam, but no ones putting an always-on camera on my tv. Its the cheek of it that offends me. I ain't buying one
