I thought she looked oddly familiar. Thank you for shedding some light on this.
The really frustrating thing in Dead Rising is the survivors. With the Mega Man Buster I don't need a weapon, so I give able survivors guns and the like. With guns, they get unlimited ammo, and yet these fools still get trapped and murdered by zombies. That's crap. I gave the two Japanese dudes shotguns and they were dead before I could get back to the security room. |

I loved True Crime and True Crime: New York, and I expect a similar experience with Sleeping Dogs (which is effectively True Crime: Hong Kong). I haven't looked into it, but I'm really hoping they don't have a multiplayer component. Also, does anyone remember being able to play as either Method Man or Redman at the end of TC: New York. You were like Snake Pliskin trying to escape the city. Memories.
I've also taken to playing New Vegas yet again, this time on hardcore. It's a little bit more challenging than the regular version, but food and water seem to be ridiculously plentiful. Only being able to heal limbs with doctor's bags can be a pain early on, but becomes easier once you get some decent armor. Having Boone roll with me has been a lifesaver at times, especially against the damn Legion hit squads. At least they're a good source of weaponry for use and and sale. |

im totally enjoying me3 more than me2 so far, but it could be because i never played me1 so i didnt get to continue on when starting me2, both are great games for each there own , but im really diggin me3 more, in terms of this war going on, and overall darker tone of the game, the weapon upgrades are cool , the backgrounds in open areas seem to be more alive , and of course im more familiar with the characters and themes , and the shooting element in this one just seems much more fine tuned and just feels great when playin, POW POW POW POW |

Got Civ V. ridiculously addictive, as expected!
I really like how they've split the science and social policy and culture up. Also the way units work now make for more sensible warfare and less ridiculous cold war stockpiling.
The depth and versatility in diplomatic negotiations is impressive, too. |

I started playing Darksiders 2 yesterday. It's incredible, and significantly better than the first one. It also requires no knowledge of the first game to enjoy the story (at least so far).
Neuro, I think you'd appreciate this game. It's gorgeous, and incredibly stylistic, and you get to play as Death. |

Totalbiscuit review says the PC port came out pretty badly for Darksiders 2:

When I first played the Dead Money DLC for New Vegas I hated it. It was a pain in the ass to deal with the poison clouds and the radio transmitter/collar shit. But I just played through it a second time, on hardcore mode no less, and really enjoyed it. Sure, the things I mentioned above still sucked, and I gradually lost health because of hardcore mode, but I liked the challenge. I also liked seeing how Elijah and Christine were linked together, both in Dead Money and in Old World Blues. It was also cool just to get some additional backstory, and to trap Elijah in the vault a second time. My only complaint is that I had a lot of cool stuff that I wanted to hang on to but couldn't store anywhere. I had to jettison some things at some points, but for the most part I emerged with everything I wanted. This automatic rifle should do some serious damage. I can now recommend this DLC. |

yeah that one was cool, but the best part is stealing all the gold at the end of the level, did you miss that opportunity, for me it was great cause i was always low on funds in that game for some reason

has anyone played Spec Ops: The Line? i'm most interested in how it apparently addresses the issue of violence in war games and how the player interacts with that violence. |

I guess that would be cool, but I'm still holding out for Detroit or Seattle. |

Detroit would be cool because you wouldn't know if it's supposed to be the present or the future. |
