Is anyone playing Diablo 3? This game is awesome. They straight up took all the annoying crap out of D2, added in cheevs and an Auction House, improved the graphics and skill system. The cinematics are top quality. The RP elemts are optional. It's fun. Don't sleep. |

I wish I could be playing Diablo 3 right now, but the computer I'm currently using can't run it and can't afford to upgrade it at the moment. I definitely plan on getting around to it soon though, I fucking love that series and the new one looks amazing. |

Yeah I've been stealing my wife's new laptop at night to play it on our 32" flat screen. My old dual core with 3gig of ram just isn't cutting it any longer.

i gave in and got the batman suit collection for arkham city, and i tell ya this is actually pretty badass, better than i thought it would be, i hope they make a new movie dark knight suit skin, they HAVE to |

It's about aesthetic appeal too, though. And games usually couple skin downloads with new armor or weapon qualities. Usually they aren't worth the coin, but if you have $60 to drop on a game on a regular basis the MS points are nothing. |

I beat Prototype 2 on Normal two days after I started playing it.
I started a New Game+ on Hard, and that took me around another two days and felt easier than normal. I got the full load of achievements on this round.
I started a simple New Game on Insane difficulty.
There were a few things that took me multiple tries to accomplish, particularly the Hydra you fight to unlock the tendrils weapon. The final boss fight is harder because when you lose you have to start from the beginning instead of being able to continue with full health from the start of the current form.
But, mostly, it still wasn't very hard. I think I've come to the conclusion that Prototype 2 is a fun but broken game. The block/shield bash mechanic is too powerful because most enemies simply can't adapt to it.
I'm going to start playing Max Payne 3 this afternoon, probably.
EDIT: I decided to go back to BulletStorm instead. Max Payne 3 is selling an "online pass" for future DLC and I have a feeling I'll never take time to see the DLC unless I wait to play the game. |
