It's really unique to have an actual show review. I thought those died out with the zine scene. However, it's nice to see some legwork put into a review.
Interviews with Sage, B. Dolan, Cecil Otter and Sleep also available within that link. |

we have a nations wide scene review website review website called www.3voor12.nl with local departments that cover almost every show. All the reviewers and photographers are volunteers. It works really well and is set up by an independant broadcasting company. a good thing. |

nice review/interview-It was interesting to read the comments about your albums
as for "human" there are some very good songs, songs that are enjoyable to listen too on that album. I think you may have been kinda hard on it. |

Also I wouldn't be offended if this was a national tour next year. |

You could write down pretty much every song in his catalog and you wouldn't be far off. |

leaving off this list the names of new songs, which must not be uttered.
i was really geeking out during this set, on some fan shit. my tweets during those shows were all 'oh shit!! he's doing 'x'!' ...
as a performer, i can imagine how truly ill it must be to pull off a 2 hour set like that ... but it was definitely some magical shit to witness from the audience.
next i would like to request a 6 hour set of francis' entire discography. ground control, sun vs. moon, call me francois. i need to see it all one time. 'The Snake River Canyon Show' let's dew this. I'll volunteer to open up with one acapella haiku. |

Great interviews, too. These three articles were a rarity in music journalism in that they didn't make me want to punch the journalist in the face. Good interview, better than I ever attempted to do.
Would love to hear more stories from Frank about days of yore.
This quote from Dolan made me laugh:
Quote: Cecil Otter says: “Doomtree is here to knock Wu-Tang out of the box.” (laughs) That’s a good style. Every year you should challenge Wu-Tang to battle Doomtree. Be like, “They’ve been ducking us. They know we’ve got more feelings than them.”
Heh. I dunno, Ghostface has a lot of pain. |
