A couple of my friends are Pablo Honeyists, if I may use that term. I don't mind it. I don't give a shit if you don't like them, that's your deal. It doesn't mean you have a bad taste in music, it just means you don't like Radiohead. That's fine, because Radiohead isn't the greatest band in the world. A great band, but not the next gen Beatles. Close, I think.

I have no idea who Sneeb is, he was gone before I joined. But I enjoy Raoul's posts.

Neither are irreverent though. Bandini before he got grouchy was more like a watered down Sneeb, tossing out much of Sneeb's mysticism and political agenda, while still keeping his sense of humor.

Raoul is more like an artsy fartsy Dan Shay than anything. In so much as you can really compare his posting style to anyone.

Radio head is a phenomenon I will never understand. I view my relationship with people who love Radio head in the same infected vein as my roomate's/other people's love for the band Ween. There is something under the surface that is sucking on the marrow of the boner in their hearts. They get so much pleasure from something seemingly...bland and uninteresting that I wish I could feel it.

It's sort of a peanut butter on the dick complex. People love when a dog licks that shit off, I just can't bring myself to lather my boys up with a food group.

Maybe you'd understand things better if you didn't put a space in the band's name.

I get a little upset with people who say "the" Smashing Pumpkins or "the" Counting Crows, for example. But I am a grammar Nazi.

By the way, Radiohead is (mostly) really boring. It's like it's scientifically designed to make it impossible for me to pay attention to it. Astounding musicianship. And I like some of it a lot. But mostly it's really fucking boring. But I understand that the things that make it boring to me are apparently the same things that interest other people about it. So smh.

And I will say that when the build up on the bridge finally breaks on Aenima and he starts talking about praying for tidal waves, that is the closest musical equivalent to busting a nut that we will probably ever hear.

I like your list.

The Bends is still the best.

*Tool is a great band. You can't fuck with Opiate-Aenima.
