I was looking forward to going tonight, but I just recently found out that my car has been a death-trap for a couple weeks now and that every penny is going to be needed in getting it road-worthy before next Monday. I hope this mini-tour is a prelude to more shows at the Grant and another tour in 2010 (le wink), so I'll keep my fingers crossed for another show before I get poor again.

I have no doubt that B. Dolan and Sage are going to rock their sets tonight.

What can I say?...
The Providence show was completely solid, (save for some embarrassing crowd members, who were dealt with solidly though).

Much thanks to Cecil, B, Sleep and Sage for such a good time.

I was seriously considering coming to Rhode Island for the show yesterday. It would have been perfect. It couldn't be done at all but it was most definitely on the cards. Some other time. It sounded insane...

What happened with the sucker who got dismantled? B mentioned something on twitter - gotta be out your fuckin mind stepping to SFR in full crew mode...

The Sageometer was off the charts last night....

That was an awesome set...it felt like it really was like a 2 hour set

I have to admit I felt bad for that kid Sage brought on stage....but it was funny at the time...

I wasn't sure what he did to get pulled up there...

But it was funny, he didnt know what to say, he had nothing... so he started yelling about Fat emo rappers....too fucking funny....

Then the Doltromater comes in and enforces the law....

Poor kid just got Dolanized....

Awesome show.

Heh, I like how you turn people's names into other words. What else happened?

Enlighten the other people around the globe who couldn't make it just what is up with this kid incident, por favor.

Sage is writing a blog about it, apparently.

After he was physically thrown off the stage and ejected from the club, I followed dude outside and got in his face. He had his chance, with just the two of us alone and no one else present, and ran off as quickly as he could with his tail between his legs.

other than that it was a great fucking show. drunk girls dancing onstage, broccoli and cake fights, jerkoffs getting ejected in spectacular ways. a fitting way to end a great run of shows with Sleep, Zone, and Cecil.

I've never seen a show where the crowd did not thin out or wander away at any point. Through all 3 openers, the 2 hour headlining set, and even the breaks between sets, the crowd stood stock still and just increased in size. certainly a memorable night. anybody got pictures?

There had to have been 100 great photo ops during this show, but this one is going to be tough to top (no bandini):

ha- that's awesome. It looks like you have a mini cape.

Sounds like a badass night, can't wait to read more about the dood who got pulled up on stage and kicked out. Girls dancing on stage is usually a good thing. Cake fights, too.

How often do you have a drama free show? Oh booze...

Very nice seeing Shane, Kese, and some more familiar faces in the crowd. Un-nice to not see some familiar faces in the crowd too though. Birthday boy gets greedy.
