I spend waaaaay too much money on vinyl. I don't even DJ. It's so stupid.
I moved my vinyl collection about 4 months ago, not fun.
I am not impressed with physical CDs. They are just a plastic replica of the album you are buying. The cases are cheap, the disc is cheap, the booklet is cheap etc.
I believe people should pay for the music they download, but downloading full albums vs. buying cds is the same. They both count as a full soundscan. CD's sound a little better, but nothing noticeable. At least in comparison to vinyl.
Why is this conversation happening again?
i have a couple burned copies of your cds id like signed. |

A couple of years back after moving a few times in a span of a few months moving my 800+ CD's that filled up a oak filled dresser became a big pain in the ass.
then I lost a job and had to get some $$$, I had to decide pay my rent or sell my CD's I started listing my CD's on Amazon.
I made about $580.00 my first month. I used to keep my CD's in mint condition, never let people borrow them, kept them in alphabetical order. Then, realized no one gives a shit and why am I keeping all these CD's around. They just take up so much space and there just collecting dust and being sentimental about CD's makes you a schmuck.
I already had an audio jack in my car and had 30GB of music on my IPOD and CD cases warp in the sun out here if left in the car so I was hardly using them. Does anyone else care I bought Illmatic the day it was released? Or I had many, many out of print CD's. The music is what means something to me not the "CD" the cd iself sucks, they scratch easy, can break etc.. I still have 300 hundred or so that have no value on Amazon otherwise I would sell those too. I did keep some favorites but alot of the shit is gone.
