"Say G&E" is the featured item on our site right now. Definitely interested in getting feedback on this project. They went hard with this one.

On this fourteen track collection, The Grouch & Eligh team up a third time for a perfect balance of straightforward wordplay and high-concept rhymes. Guests include Slug of Atmosphere, Pigeon John, Gift Of Gab, Mistah F.A.B., Sage Francis, Mystic, and LA's latest sensation, Blu, along with guest beat production from Flying Lotus, Super producer Rick Rock, and Zion I's Amp Live. The Grouch & Eligh have been at the forefront of the West Coast's independent rap movement for over a decade. |

I'll pick it up eventually. These guys are the only Living Legends members who actually make it to the other side. Usually. |

I checked out the record a couple nights ago
there are some really nice songs on the album. Go to youtube every song is available for listen. The song Boom with Slug is real nice , slug drops a nice cocky verse with some back in the day rhymes the production is nice good stuff on this track.
Sage has a nice showing as well, pretty slick effort by him.
the only time I had heard the grouch previously was on a mystik journeyman album.
Not a bad album by any means pretty good vibe to it, they do suffer from bouts of amateur lyrics however quite a few times.
I don't know if their other albums sound like this but I think this is a pretty solid release. Overall I've always found the living legends have slow plodding uninspired production so its been hard for me to get into them. |

I picked up Eligh's project with his mom, and it was pretty dope. She has a really awesome voice and when I first heard By and By, I thought it was just an effect they put her voice through, but I believe it is actually her style, which wowed me. I was floored after the first run through. I'll have to check this out, Slug's verse on When Winter Come off Cunninlynguist's Strange Journey was legit, I thought Mac ripped it on Broken Van. Further, the whole fucking song is ill. They also get props for sampling what I believe is super tramp, on Dance For Me. /semi-hijack. |

I caught this on the Grouch's page the other night. Its the video for "All In" off this album. I dig it and found myself singing the hook like an hour later. Its fun. Gift of Gab's spot is cool.

Grouch was my favorite living legend. he and eligh were the only ones I really liked. Haven't listened to him since like 2001 though. |

the last grouch record that dropped, show you the world, just came out last year. That record was really good. yardwork and show you the world were super enjoyable. the whole album was good, but his lead single was my least favorite cut on the record.
with that murderers row line up, i am fairly excited by this. |

I also liked Mom'n pop killers off that album.
I liked yard work but when it would play I literally would sing "I wasn't down with the main stream or should I say their team" |
