Get ready for:

"SMH at all that white rice.. carbs"

FYI trav, they offer 'burrito bowls' with brown rice and no tortillas...

But yeah, it's good.. very solid for a fast-casual place, and they have nice healthy ingredients.

as long as the junk i eat has protein im good...

You can't even compare the two, Chipotle is in an entirely different league of goodness. Do they even have Chipotle out on the east coast though?

Yeah, it's a "fast casual" place where you can sit and eat, but most people take it with them to go. It's basically a gourmet fast food restaurant, but nothing is really frozen/microwaved like most fast food places proper do. Check it out -- their steak is good.

Well the one in Denver is showing at Chez Artiste regularly and is paid for like a normal movie... so you might check with the actual theater to see when it's happening. I plan to go see this for sure.

Ya, I tried calling and all I got was robots. Did you get through?

My girlie and I are going to the mercury cafe for dinner before. Super excited. They are closed on mondays and I always seem to be in denver on a monday.

Nah, I was just gonna figure out exactly when I'm going and then buy the tickets online. It says "free", but it seems like it's just playing normally at Chez Artiste.. don't really know how the free thing works since there's very little real info on the Chipotle site. It's showing at least through the 16th on their online ticket website, probably longer...

I think they are doing it. If you look on the website for tuesday the 14th, the 7:30 showing isn't there.

I'm probably going to go some other day too.

Chipotle fucking sucks. I can't some of y'all think that's what a good burrito tastes like.

And, aren't they owned by McDonalds?

From Wiki:
In the past, McDonald's Corporation owned a majority interest in Chipotle. McDonald's has since sold their entire stake in Chipotle; full divestment was completed in October 2006

It's not what a good traditional burrito tastes like by any means, but it's a hell of a lot better than Subway or other "decent" fast food places. The big new-style burritos aren't anything like a real one, but they have their own appeal. Illegal Pete's in Denver is my pick for that type of burrito though... better than Chipotle and Qdoba.

Why cant i find nutrition facts on Chipotle's website? That is not a good sign.

On a site called chipotlefan.com, here is what i got for a chicken burrito with medium salsa, rice, black beans, sour cream (which i believe comes standard), cheese, guac, lettuce, which seems like a pretty normal order there.

Calories: 1120
Fat: 51g
Saturated fat: 20g (98% dv)
cholesterol: 185 mg (62% dv)
Sodium: 2,070 mg (86%)
Carbs: 104 g
Protein: 61 g

Big Mac and medium fries (from McD website):

Calories: 920
Fat: 48
Saturated fat: 13
cholesterol: 75
Sodium: 1300
Carbs: 93
Protein: 29

Is Chipotle healthier than McDonalds? School me, i rarely go to Chipotle and never to McDonalds.
