Yeah, that's good to point out. That's how we originally credited it when it was a Clip of the Week. But I'm still not positive if DJ Babu made that beat or if the Beatnuts did. If you know for sure, I'll certainly switch that up. It sounds so much like a Beatnuts beat to me.

According to this http://www.dubcc.com/forum/index.php?topic=62845.0, he produced it. That message board is part of this project: http://www.dubcnn.com/thevault/ which seems pretty comprehensive and reliable to me.

Oh yeah, of course - it's this :
http://www.discogs.com/Babu-The-Dilated-Junkie-Presents-Beatnuts-The--Jurassic-5-Duck-Season-Ducky-Boy/release/210024

It looks like Babu produced it but it definitely sounds like a Beatnuts-made beat. I always went for the B-side (Ducky Boy), but Paid Dues has definitely made me appreciate the beat more... I prefer the SFR posse cut action myself though.

I am really digging Needle right now. "Too old to go back to school brother". Love the verse about CR. And Buddy Peace consistently brings it.

Gotta give this release the attention it deserves, so the track of the day is..... Be A Star! Had already listened to it a lot when it was first released, but the newly added intro made me laugh, and then the beat kicks in, fun stuff.

What I like best about that intro is how it comes in after the audio recording of a reporter getting beaten down by cops. And then rainbows come in to save the day.

this may be why Im the godfather of triznoll
but that chorus to "be a star" is the worst chorus in the history of recorded music.

There are some nice solid cuts on the album though :)

phil I might be up there with or even surpassed you,I hav been openly critical of sages work as well.htdd has some super shitty tracks.

And when life gives u lemons sucks so fucking bad it interferes with my life.

But for sage, for every wack track like clickety clack or midgts and giants there is...personal journals lp.

<3 sage

Jesse is wack.

The bit with the reporter getting beat down planted some raw images in my brain... I don't know what it comes from but it was very disturbing.

just for the record my comment about the chorus was my bill walton impersonation...for those that listened to him as a commentator you should get the joke.

I just got this in the mail today, and listened to it after work. So great.

I had a "over enthusiastic fanboy" moment when I saw the autograph, haha.

I like this alot. Probably even more than the earlier works in the "Sick of"-series. And I like it more than both A healthy Distrust and HTDD. I dont know if it is because its new but I have played it probably 10-15 times by now and it surely is sounding like you have a blast on this one!

Good work putting this material together.
