Ann Arbor is totally a different cultural entity, no doubt. And Romeo is not even a Detroit suburb. No place that has a peach festival deserving of Detroit affiliation, at least not as someone like Kid Rock portrays it. Utica is stretching it and that's ten minutes south of Romeo.
And I thought the Boss was from Jersey? Does he try to claim Brooklyn? Where artists try to represent is an entirely different discussion in which Detroit seems to be a catchall for any town in southeast Michigan. |
