Here's my interview of Shane, where you can learn about sodium, Converse, B. Dolan's demeanor, and more, as promised:

Please tell folks about the website if you dig what we're doing, and please show Shane some respect and affection by peepin a show!

You know, I had a fuck of a time securing an Ohio date. I must have sent out a hundred e-mails and nothing stuck. We've got nothing on our way home from Minnesota though, so if you want we can stop and play at your house. Haha.

Copyedit that shit, homie. You've got a comma to pluralize and the wrong cubicle in the preamble. The rest of the interview is pretty much fine on that tip, but my first impression was that it was going to be a sloppy and lazily-conducted interview, and it wasn't. The questions were good and made entertaining (if not totally restrained) use of self-insertion. The asides in square brackets and italics were mostly pretty extraneous, and the UK spelling note was only funny the first time. Make knowmore.org a link in the text. Don't give yourself the last word after asking for final words or shouts (I know "get to work" are technically the last words but you know what I'm talking about).

I just came from a copyediting exam, and you are bearing the brunt of that. Heh. Hope it's constructive.

Jesse, I totally appreciate the feedback. It might have been apparent, but this was my first time seriously interviewing anyone so I just rolled with it. It was a little strange also because we conducted it through Gmail's chat function. Haha, it can only get better from here. Thanks for taking the time to read it.

Edit: I made a few adjustments per your suggestions.

Also, I'm super stoked to see Shane in Lansing! Any Michigan heads coming out for the show should hit me up!

I really enjoyed the interview - I don't think I've read an interview with you before Shane, that was dope. And not just because of your kind comments - you're too kind man, thank you! I wish I could do more for you - we'll get there, I promise.

I really want some of these ramen noodles now. I'm all hungry after reading that...

Good luck with the shows brotherman - have fun!

What times does the N.O. show start? I have a night class but I made a deal with the teacher, so I have to make 3 presentations so then I can leave. Baton Rouge is roughly an hour away so I wanna figure out how quick I need to make these presentations.

I'm scheduled for the 11:00 slot that night. Getting there a little early wouldn't hurt, just in case they slide me up unannounced. Which I will resist with ferocity.

Oh that should be no problem at all, I can make it out of my class by 7 and be there around 8. Great News.

Are you still the solo act for Basement 414, or is there someone else playing?

I don't know - I should find out.

I just realized I need to find a way to take the interwebs with me. Ugh.

Also, do you and your crew need a place to crash that night? If so I can probably negotiate something with my live-in landlord. We have a spare bed and two couches. Let me know and I'll talk to him.
