haha. All I remember is you sitting in the passenger seat and writing. I don't remember the driving, but that was quite a while ago. OK. game on.

Reference the brady bunch for how to have a driving battle. The tiebreaker involves an orange traffic cone and an egg. Marsha beat Greg.

i think they should set up a mini race track obstacle course at the soundset festival and have sage out and then he and slug can have a driving battle. maybe in cool go karts. that would be great entertainment.

this is nowhere near true, but as shown in the d.d. thread, your interpretation is all that counts..

I was being facetious. I know that's not what the song is about. It just sounds like it could be, like flogging the dolphin or beating the bishop. What's this D.D. thread?

a driving battle is quite conveinient.
since i would be doing my best not to crash my car anyways.
i enjoy this type of competition.
i drove so dope today.
all of my punchlines landed like flying water beatles.
came this close to hitting bird's car.
but right when you thought it was gonna scrape, nope, punchline.
todaaaaaaay is the greatest day i've ever knowwwwnnn.

Well since you came so close to an accident, where as I didn't come close at all to an accident, I'll take the win and let you stop worrying.

After I've had a little more time to digest it, here are my thoughts: I haven't heard anything from his second release, so there's probably a small disconnect here, but this EP has more "bounce" than Shadows on the Sun. The beats are very well crafted, but I think that there were a few ideas therein that could have been expanded more, like Palm the Joker, which I mentioned in an earlier post. Overall this is a solid mouthwatering EP that will keep the fans aware of who Ali is. I thought Slug was top in superb form on The Believers, unleashing a type of cadence that I thought was a little new and insanely good. As for Brother Ali, he dropped some really nice lines on this, enough to make me smile and raise my eyebrows. I'm happy with this, but not blown away.

This motherfucker said "I drove so dope today."

Speaking of accompanying DVD's, after watching Ali's, I remembered that I never watched the one that came with DOOM's reissue of MM...Food. I already had the CD and my ex gave me the reissue and I had forgotten about it. Anyway, as I'm watching the NY footage, I'm trying to look for myself in the crowd. I figured it was a futile effort since it was dark and all the shots of the crowd were quick. Outta nowhere, the camera shoots to a close-up of my grill as I'm rapping along. Pretty funny.
