...just in case you're giving the profiles the once over, there's a new blog feature too - I've started off mine with an interview I gave recently with DEAD Magazine. It's a long-ass interview, I can't lie - but come check it if you have time. Some considerable time. Lunch break material. Nice one! I'll try and keep things updated too...

Had to comment on this newness. I am super excited about the new artists. It's the closest to an Anticon type label in sometime I think. I have been waiting for this to go down forever. I look forward to the new stuff that will drop from all these great artists.

I would die for a Sage & Cecil duo. Sage has yet to have another artist on one of his albums but dang would that be the shiz. Even Sage over some Cecil beats.

Jolie Holland and Will Oldham have been on ze albums. Which as an aside, Jolie Holland's most recent album is really addictive.

I'm really happy to have been exposed to a lot of music I probably would have taken a while to listen to - Cecil and Sleep mainly. I'm glad that exposure has been pushed forward. And it's awesome to hear 2mex again - it's been a while, he's so bloody busy I just sort of lost myself on what he was doing, but I've been a fan for a while. I really can't wait to hear what they've got coming.

Congrats to all the artists involved, new and old! And congrats to SFR for building such a stout roster!

I'm stoked to hear some new Alias, and maybe some wierd, inter-label collabs with 2Mex?!?!

All the new artists and their upcoming material is so exciting but after reading Alias' blog entry, i'm beyond excited for that record.

That just makes my nipples tingle. If any of the raps are half as good as B.'s rap on Sea Legs, this album is going to be crazy.

After watching the video for P.O.S.'s Goodbye this popped up. It is the vid for Cecil Otters' 1999. I love this track, the drums excite me. It has all the Doomtree cats in it. Of course not rapping. No one should sleep on this album. Rebel Yellow fits right in the SFR catalogue.
