Free Metermaids t-shirt with the purchase of Nightlife CD  Reply with quote

Below is a message from the Metermaids. To make it clear, people will be getting a CD and a T-shirt for only $9.99

Free T-Shirt with NIGHTLIFE Purchase from Strange Famous!!!

Hello everyone --

We have decided, because we love Sage Francis and everyone at SFR, and we love how they give out free goodies with all of their purchases, to offer a free t-shirt to anyone who purchases NIGHTLIFE from Strange Famous Records

http://www.strangefamousrecords.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=426

You can check out the t-shirts here: www.merchdirect.net/metermaids
These are quality shirts.

Just hit us up on Myspace with your order number from SFR, as well as the size and style of the t-shirt you want (and a mailing address), and we will get the shirt out to you lickety-split. Don't ever say Metermaids doesn't bring the goodies. We bring the goodies, yo.

Love, Metermaids.

Will SFR be shipping the shirts at one point, or will it remain the two step process.

Honestly, I feel guilty doing this because it is such a good deal. I believe in fair trade and this doesn't seem fair to them.

I'm guessing they want to stick to their own resources for this, so it's probably going to be a two step process.

that is an insane deal. i ordered the cd but they don't have shirts in my size so i won't rob them of any of their merch just for it to sit in a drawer or end up at a goodwill.

Lacezilla!

You're like the one forum person (outside of the SFR team) that I've met. I was wondering where you were at!

Don't nobody feel bad about this deal. We want as many people as possible to hear the music. If it takes offering a t-shirt to entice people into that, it is more than worth it for us.

The shirts are really nice, too. Not typical shitty band shirt type.

To anyone who doesn't want to have to join Myspace to get in on this offer, just hit me up at swell@metermaidsnyc.com.

i just placed my order, and sent you an email.
it was potentially the most awkward email i've ever written.

The only thing awkward about that email is how you kept saying it was awkward.

Nothing else applies.

ah well. haha

Right?! He's being way too hard on himself here. Haha.

I've written far more awkward emails.

Just a quick update on the Metermaids end:

A whole bunch of people have taken advantage of the deal (thanks to everyone for supporting!) and I just want to let anyone else who is interested know what we have left in stock.

I had forgotten to mention originally that we have both men and women's sizes / styles. With that being said, if you are a woman, and want a woman size / style shirt, we got you. We have a bunch of shirts left in every size (Large, Medium, Small), and with both design (Cityscape or Stacked Letters). These are American Apparel shirts, so hopefully that can give you an indication of the sizes. Is Bernard going to kill me for using AA?

As far as men go, the pickings are a little more slim. We are based in Brooklyn, and are used to skninny indie kids. Haha. So we stocked mostly in Medium. We have no Large or XL shirts in either style, but do have a couple more mediums in both styles.

Once we run out of shirts, then the deal has to end. Unless people want me to draw designs on white t-shirts with magic marker, which I would be happy to do. But I suck at drawing.

Obviously everyone who has ordered up to this point will have their order filled as they asked for.

Thanks again to Sage, and everyone who has gotten at us in the last couple days.

And if you are thinking about ordering, do it fast before we run out!

Sean.
