but furthermore, my mom and i met with this dude to talk about a retail space for our store. we met him in a really unassuming building and he kept saying "don't let me forget to show you my fish tank- its big!" and i'm thinking "yeah ok...its going to be some sort of lame 100 gal contraption that you show to all the ladies interested in your retail space. 'you wanna see my huge....tank?' ".
so, we get finished with the meeting and are about to scoot out the door to look at the actual building and the dude busts out "OHHHH! oh i almost forgot to show you my tank!" so we follow him down this hallway and he opens the door to his office and i'm looking around for a tank on a stand and don't see shit. as we enter the room, i see this GIGANTIC tank. but, this is no ordinary tank because the glass is about 5 inches thick and the whole unit is open and built into the wall. you can walk up to the ledge and stick your hands in the water.
dude has all kinds of fish, several kinds of turtles swimming happily around. something made me turn around and i'm glad i did because in another unit on the floor is a huge ass tortoise! it was apparently a gift and she was like 20 years old.
so all in all i learned that just because you have BO and huge flakes of dandruff on your scalp it doesn't mean that you can't have a bad ass fish/ turtle tank AND your very own tortoise to hang out with. |

What's great about turtles eating is how humble they are when they eat. It's like they want to be careful and not offend anyone, while getting theirs.
