I will be attending this peace rally with my Grandmother and Uncle.

After the rally is a buffet type thing that I will be performing a couple spoken word pieces at.

Newport Peace Rally
Sunday, March 16, 2008

NOON. Washington Square, Newport, R.I.
(In the case of rain, entire event will be held at Billy Goodes’) 29 West Marlborough Street, Newport, R.I.)

The Newport Peace Rally is sponsored by RIPL, in observance of the 5th anniversary of the Iraq War. Working cooperatively with other Rhode Island Peace & Justice groups, speakers from the ecumenical, educational, veteran and activist community will participate.


I will be performing at the event that follows at Billy Goodes’ Tavern. A couple spoken word pieces. There will be other musicians and performers as well.
1:30-3p.m. $5.00 Buffet at Billy Goodes’ Tavern






~followed by~

3-7p.m. Rock out of Iraq Music Fest

Musicians to include Joyce Katzberg, Jim McGrath, Ed McGuirl and others

Free to the Public

How did this go? How was the performance after the rally?

No mention of the performance after the rally and no mention of YOU. Ha. I told my nephew to try and check out your performance but I haven't heard from him.
