I'd like to go to this but $75 a ticket is just insane. I know why it is that much but if I were to go I'd also have to take the wife and kid. not sure a 10 year old at this show would be a good idea. :(

If any npfers are checking the forum on their sidekicks and cellies while waiting in the embarcadero hell line, here's the solution- continue up 3rd, following signs for the vip entrance, over the bridge until you get to the end of the metal dividers, then cut back to the Lot A sign- there's absolutely no line at that entrance!

Doom didn't show.

Divinci's one of the nicest dudes ever.

I accomplished one of my life's goals, which was give Chuck D a hug.

Overall, it was a real fun time, but a little too chaotic for me.

Public Enemy brought the whole concert around. I wasn't feeling much of the main stage until they came on. Wu-Tang were a letdown.

It's funny that Doom didn't show. Did Hiero go on later to compensate? And what happened with the Paid Dues stage in the morning? I didn't get there until 11:45, but the stage still hadn't opened. IT played the main stage? What about The Coup?

it will be my 4th time performing there in a month so I'm trying to put together some new songs. i don't think I can get away with the same exact set. I'm breaking out a couple things I haven't done in a while. And then I'll be back in 2 weeks for the spoken word show. Jeesh, san fran. jeesh.
I wish I would have read this before I left, but EPMD was fun to watch.

I didn't get to change my set up too much. It was an aiight performance by my standards. But the rest of the day and night was a hell of a lot of fun for me. About to catch my flight home. Really looking forward to doing the spoken word shows now. Got some stories to tell. Hahaa

Living Legends were not supposed to be there. Nas was supposed be, but canceled. I think he was officially removed the lineup a while ago though, it wasn't just an issue of being a no-show.
