i was in the house that night ....whoooooo's house?
i must admit being from RI i have been able to check out many shows..usually they were with AOI....once in boston a caught u with shalem..but i prefer to see you with a live dj rather than aoi....i would get bored with aoi...and its not because i am not into live music (which i truely enjoy) but its nice to hear the beats loud and live...i pay attention to lyrics on the album and i listen to the beats just as much...you have alot of good production on the album and its nice to hear that live as well......i'm sure i'd be more apt to listen to you perform with gruvis rather than aoi because they are a truly dope band but......the two times i have seen u with a dj have been much more memorable than the 10 times i've seen you with aoi...the first few times i saw you with aoi was dope but then it seemed to be the same thing over and over...well thats all....had a dope time on saturday....show was hot......
almost as dope as the dj shadow show the next day...
has anyone seen the movie, KEEPINTIME:talking drums, whispering vinyl,
such a dope dope flick! got some old school jazz drummers (Paul Humphrey, Earl Palmer, Roy Porter, and James Gadson) listening to some modern dj's (babu, cut chemist., ect...) they make alot of interesting comments and then in the end they all play together...shit was unbelievable...much respect to all those old school muscians |

I was impressed with the amount of talent in the house
the slam team killed it-all of them
grand buffet-how can you not have fun watching thees cats?
shalem b is one nasty table turner
jezuz and merf-very enjoyable
joe beats-ready for scribble jam?/wake up people/producer extrordnaire
previews beats/crowd stands around with thumbs up their asses
sage francis-probably the only person who could line-up
that show go on last and proceed to steal the show that was just stolen right back how you do it my man is a mystery/definitely the best live performer i've ever seen/by far
personal hilights-sage calling jezuz a druggie(oh wait this is perfect)
lord grunge and van halen
jezuz's side street freestyle(feed her thru tubes)
joe beats(the rapper)
sage beatboxing
jared paul(i'm still in awe)
meeting master p(no not that one)

I feel so special for being remembered. I was there, and I have video of the mullet remover, which Shane seems to be a little embarrassed about...
So, who wants to start the bidding? ;-)
It was a good show, and I actually watched all but Jezuz and Merf's set without the camera. Thanks!

it's a 12 minute or so film made by B+, a well known photographer (he did the art for the new shadow album, and takes a lot of photos for URB magazine). i've got the audio of it from a DJ Shadow bootleg of his release party show (6/4/02), and i'll put up the "keepin time" audio on my website in a few days, if anyone is interested.
