oh snap...lupos release party...july 13th  Reply with quote  

that was probably the best thing ive seen in a long time.
fucking awesome.
(i was part of the NH crew up front)
it was worth the drive, the 10 bucks, and even worth been accosted by a lady looking for her son and a crazy bum(who told us he was a famous basketball star..jojo white) who asked for 1.75 and got like 3 dollars cause duncan aciddently showed him all his quarters.

well worth it.

Jojo White played for the Celtics in the 1970's... i met him at the Basketball Hall of Fame (right down the street) a few years back and he didnt seem like a homeless person then

thanks... i think we have all rocked the mullet if you grew up in the 80s.... it was so acceptable then

i remember when i met Gordie Howe and asked him for an autograph, he took the marker and colored in the lines on the side of my mullet cut... i gotta find that pic

I remember waiting in line once for Gordie Howe's autograph, and someone was counting the number of people waiting... when he got to me, he said "the rest of you have to go. we made an agreement." I should have started crying, seeing as I was just 8 years old (or something like that); Then he would have let me get my card signed! If only I'd known that little kids always get their way by whining.

sigh. I'm still traumatized, obviously. =)
