The Sage DVD  Reply with quote

Is there a thread talking about how great this DVD is? If not, here it is. This schitt is hilarious and seems to do a pretty good job of conveying the energy in Sage's live shows. I was really impressed with how high-quality the thing was, how cohesive it was, and how un-boring it was. Kudos on this schitt. Let's jock it a bit.

got mine in the mail last week, it's dope!

I've watched the whole thing twice already, it's got so much stuff on it and Sage had me laughing my ass off right from the beginning.

One of my fav parts, is when he's sitting on the bench talking directly to the camera..

"I'm lonely"

HAHAHAHAH!

My favorite part was the "American Psycho" scene.

It looked like Sage might have either frightened or upset the guy towards the end.

I also like the old school footage.

It was definitely worth the money.

I post from work. They monitor the language we use. I'm going to continue to type "schitt" instead of the "s" word.

I like the Sage vs. Sole freestyle battle.

That's just good clean fun.

My favorites (in order):

1. 'We were always at war with Eurasia' (that whole segment is awesome)
2. The end of the USA-shirt footage -- that look is pure Sage... It's almost creepy
3. SLED!!
4. Sole v. Sage Battle
5. "Hi, I'm Joe Beats."

I'm still holding out for that commentary aka. watching the DVD with your Mom.

Yes, this is excellent. I showed my wife and she thought the "cocks and cunts" line was amusing. My favorite parts are definitely you and Ams in '92, Joe Beats fallin on his ass, the slam battle, and the look on Swams face while watching Sage dance.

my whole fam has seen the Dance Monkey Sequence

one of my brothers who has never seen him Live loved the dance monkey sequence he doesnt go to shows he is like 42

my favorite parts were:
-dance monkey sequence
-lou kang wins
-live performances were great
-I enjoy the tolerance level and cure montages

I would have liked to seen more from the wutang show I liked watching Sage antagonize the crowd

watching the dvd was kinda weird though because I had seen the tours that were featured so watching it was kinda like I was watching things and events I had already experienced...

always seeing sage on DVD talking in interviews because I get a totally different vibe from him in person compared to the dvd - I dunno if that makes sense
