the track listing for STILL SICKLY BUSINESS. About finished  Reply with quote

Still Sick came out in 2000 on tape and CD. I discontinued it about a year ago because I got sick of listening to it. Didn't enjoy listening to the freestyles and I figured other people would be the same way. So I just stopped making more.

Then in 2004 I released Sickly Business which was to be the last of the Sick of Series because I just kinda decided 4 is enough. But I rushed the damn thing in order to have it ready for tour time and the end of the CD suffers because of that. And when I listen to the CD I never feel like making it all the way through. So I discontinued it, because I didn't want a CD like that.

I've taken Still Sick and Sickly Business and I have smooshed them together to make a monster Sick album. Took the elements I decided were the best from each CD and made a good mix.

Any last words? Please don't ask about any of the freestyle material. If you want it you can download it somewhere.

Although this is a compilation of unreleased songs, half recorded demos, live show recordings, radio freestyles and spoken word poetry recorded between the years of 1996 and 2005, they have all been sound mastered and polished like blood diamonds.

Nice.

I remember you said you were gonna make a "Survival of the Sickest".. was that just an idea, or is it something that's gonna be followed up on?

I had too many projects on my plate and I had to put that on the back back burner.

Not sure if its totally necessary, but we'll see what happens in the future

Metro.

Yeah, I think they're on sale now.

But you gotta pick em up at the record store next to it.

looks good.

surprises me not to see All Word No Play on there. One of the defining tracks of Still Sick to me.

Good choices, the only thing I STRONGLY disagree with it cutting Souvenir. It stands out to me as probably the best from Sickly Business, so what the hell? I humbly insist that you reconsider.

I understand you're turning the volume up a bit on this one for the SB tracks. Good.
